The DLF began
a new chapter this year by hosting our Inaugural Golf Day at
Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club on the 6th of March 2008.
The day began
with silver service treatment rolled out by Twin Creeks
staff, unloading our guests clubs and placing them on
buggies, even before they had a chance to park. This was
immediately followed with registration, breakfast and a
briefing before tee off at 8.30am.
The weather
was superb, and a great time was had by all, except for
those who found the water or lost their balls in the rough!
Special guests attending were Matthew Reilly, Deborah Hutton
and Bradley Trevor Greive with Matthew even managing to
"Beat the Pro" on the 17th.
A BBQ lunch
was then enjoyed by all with a small presentation for the
high, and not so high achievers on the day! Team Stockland
came first, narrowly beating Team "ForSim" and Team Allen &
Unwin.
Media attended
the day with the DLF receiving a mention in the Penrith
