John Forsyth John Forsyth (great nephew of founder William Dymock) took over Dymocks in 1981. At this time Dymocks comprised two bookstores and owned the Dymocks building at 424-428 George Street Sydney.

The Dymocks Group also encompasses a significant commercial, retail and rural property portfolio, including macadamia and mango farms on the mid north coast of NSW.
